Bruno Mars' Sister Act 'The Lylas' Land Reality TV Gig

Bruno Mars has four sisters who have formed the pop music group, The Lylas. The sisters are Tahiti Hernandez, Tiara Hernandez, Presley Hernandez and Jaime Hernandez.

Mars, aka Peter Hernandez, is apparently not the only member of the family to be born with the musical gene and his siblings are set to prove that in a big way.

Tahiti said, “We want to do this as much as we can on our own at first and he’s doing his thing and we’re doing ours. As long as we’ve got our family love and support that’s all we need.”

They acknowledge that they’d love an opportunity to collaborate with Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine and the band Fun. ” There’s a lot of other people we wanna work with before we work with Bruno.”

His sisters have differing tastes in music and have been influenced by the likes of Celine Dion, Beyonce, Pink, Lauryn Hill and Gwen Stefani.

The Lylas released a single ‘Come Back’ this week and are set to begin filming a reality television series on WE tv that will chronicle their journey to stardom with a fall premiere.

WE president Kim Martin released this statement: “This amazing programming, presents a clear opportunity for WE tv to grow its audience and for our advertising partners to reach captivated and engaged viewers.”

The Hernandez sisters threatened a lawsuit against a girl group on ‘The X Factor’ last October for using LYLAS as their stage name.

The season two act promptly changed their name to 1432 — with Simon Cowell telling the studio audience that their former name, LYLAS, “was a crappy name.”
