DEMI Lovato celebrated "National Cellulite Day" with a stunning, unedited bikini photo on her Instagram.
The former Disney star said she is "tired of being ashamed" - and admitted her other bikini shots were all edited.
Posting on her Instagram, the photo shows the singer in a leopard print bikini stepping out of a swimming pool.
She said it was her "biggest fear" to have an unedited photo out in the public, but she faced her fears in this spectacular shot.
The Camp Rock star wrote: "This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it's CELLULIT!!!
"I'm just literally soooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited - and I hate that I did that but it's the truth) so that others think I'm THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it's just not me.
"This is what I got. I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else's standards.
"So here's me, unashamed and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day."
The 27-year-old said she's glad she can film TV without worrying about workout sessions and she's also excited she can eat real birthday cake rather than "opting for watermelon & whip cream".
She adds: "I'm not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that's the best I can do. I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too."
Demi also revealed she is working on new music.
Fans and friends alike commented on the post to offer her support. Model Ashley Graham wrote: "Showing us YOU is so incredibly beautiful. Thank you Demi! Love you Mama!"
Hailey Baldwin - who is married to Justin Bieber - added: "YES, U LOOK INCREDIBLE."
This will come as good news to fans, after Demi spent several months last year in rehab to treat a drug addiction.
Demi has been open with her struggles with mental health and addiction. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2011.
As well as being a Disney star in her younger years and a singer in her own right in her twenties, Lovato was a judge on The X Factor USA from 2012 to 2013.
She quit after two years to focus on her own music.
