Lidl's futuristic new umbrella has an ingenious way of staying dry - and it costs just 10

LIDL are launching a new umbrella, and it folds backwards.

With the inevitable April showers on their way Lidl have launched an umbrella with a unique way of keeping you dry.

Unlike a normal umbrella where the canopy folds down, this umbrella folds up.

This means that when you fold up your umbrella all the water is trapped, preventing any rogue raindrops left on the umbrella splashing you.

Never again will we have to awkwardly manoeuvre a half open umbrella when getting out of a car as the reverse folding umbrella opens up and outwards to easily fit through a car door.

The reverse folding umbrella is available from Lidl stores this Thursday (22nd March) and it cost £9.99

The umbrella is made from a durable polyester canopy with windproof fibreglass spokes.
And as it rains 133 days of the year in the UK, brollies get a lot of use.

But hopefully we can leave the snow behind and start heading towards Spring.

Spring is supposed to start today but with more snow on the way it might get a bit delayed.

Lidl have also launched an English wine made in Surrey and it only costs £8.
